I am Useful!

It's official! I am useful. This was sent to me yesterday by a friend who had spotted it on the website of a well known Scandinavian furniture outlet. Forget 'where do I appear on Google or Lycos?' The new standard must be – am I an IKEA product!? And ALL of this got me thinking about how we are made useful by the hands of our creator…

Right, I will get back to some serious blogging soon but I just wanted to show you this rather fun little website. It's one of those "do this and we will analyse your answers and tell you all about yourself". My answers were right on the money and way off the mark all at the same time. But I'm not bothered about that as I know who I am in Christ Jesus!

Last nights visit…

A relaxed muse this morning – just reminiscing on last nights visit from my favourite nephew (that means I only have one nephew just in case you think I keep favourites haha) Mr Harry!

Sam and Anna (brother and sister-in-law) popped round to see Zoe and I, and so I thought I would share a couple of photos of the really nice time that we had just chatting and fussing over a very cute baby!

I find that God will speak to me about 'something' over a period of time and repeat it until I really begin to grasp it. I think that's an aspect of his grace towards. He's not a bad schoolteacher who says something once and if you miss it then it's just tough luck! He is kind and generous towards us and even when we forget things or lose sight He is slow to anger and rich in love…
